Morgan Morgan< no role > of Peter Street Saffron Hill in the
parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex
Pawnbroker Maketh Oath and Saith that some time in [..]
Month of August last this Deponent was bound in a [..]
in the penal Sun of Twenty pounds at the Rotation Office
Litchfield Street Upon Condition that he this Deponent
personally Appear at the then next Session of the peace to be
holden for the said County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint
John Street to give Evidence on a Bill of Indictment to be [..]
by one Mr. Sheggs against the above named Sarah Plant for
Feloniously taking and carrying away One White Apron of the
Value of Ten pence his property and if the same should be
returned a true Bill then this Deponent to give Evidence [..]
the said Sarah Plant< no role > on the Tryal of such Indictment And
Deponent Saith he has been informed by his Mother which
Information this Deponent verilly believes to be true [..]
a fortnight after this Deponent was bound in a Recognizance [..]
aforesaid the said prosecutor and the prisoners Husband in the
Absence of this Deponent came to his House and requested of
this Deponents Mother to deliver to them the said Apron [..]
this Deponents said Mother through Ignorance not knowing
the bad Tendencey thereof did in Consequence of such request
deliver them the said Apron And this Deponent Saith that he
was not in any manner whatsoever privy to the above [..]
Transaction nor did he know any thing thereof until
Three days afterwards but on the Contrary if he had been [..]
Home at the time of the said prosecutors and the prisoners
Husband going to this Deponents House he would not have
delivered up the said Apron but would have kept the same
and punctually performed the Condition of his said
Recognizance And this Deponent Saith that the same [..]
