To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in their General Session of the
Peace at Hick's Hall Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden within the
City and Liberty of Westminster in the County of
Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of the Worshipfull Cornelius Martin< no role >
and William Martin< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace Acting in and for the City and Liberty of
Westminster aforesaid (one whereof being of the Quorum)
bearing Date the thirtieth Day of January One thousand
seven hundred and seventy seven Ann Warring< no role > Singlewoman
was removed from the parish of Saint James within the
said Liberty and County to the said Parish of Saint Paul
Covent Garden as the place of her last legal Settlement
Whereby your petitioners think themselves aggrieved
and do Appeal to this Court against the same.

Your Petitioners therefore pray this Court will be
pleased to appoint a Day in this present Session
for the hearing and determining of the said Appeal
And that all persons concerned may be then directed
to Attend.

And your Petitioners shall pray Etc.
