Hamlet of Ratcliff
in the Parish of St Dunstan
Stepney
in the County of Middlesex
Sheweth
That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the hands and Seals of

Esquire Two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace in and for the
County of Middlesex
bearing date the Twenty seventh day of
February One Thousand seven hundred and Ninety Eight

and their three Children
namely

aged fifteen Years

aged Eight Years
and

aged six Years or there abouts (neither of which
Children have gained any Settlement in their own right as in
the said Order is alledged) were removed and conveyed from and
out of the Parish of Saint George
in the said County of Middlesex
to the said Hamlet of Ratcliff
as the lawful Settlement of them

Your Petitioners conceive themselves to be Aggrieved
Therefore they Appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication of the said Two
Justices and the said Order And Pray
That Your Worships Will be pleased to
appoint some day in this present Session
for the hearing and determination of the said
appealAnd to Order That the
Church wardens and Overseers of the poor
of the said Parish of Saint George
and all
Persons concerned do then Attend this Court
