Wheeler on her Oath Saith That the Deced has lived
with her Mother for the last three months, Says that
she heard no Noise in Mr. Serjeant's Room yesterday
Morning, but about Eight o'Clock Dept. finding that
the Deced was sitting upon the Garrot Stairs, desired
her to come into Depts. Room which she did, and about
half an hour after Nine o'Clock last Night, Deced
went out, and then appeared to be very much
dejected and in Despair, having but few Cloaths
about her, which moved Dept. to lend her an old
Red waistcoat of her Husbands, Says that soon after
Deced went out, Dept. heard the Shrick of a Woman
at some Distance, which made Dept. suspect that the
Deced had made away with herself, and Dept. and
Mrs. Serjeant went out upon Chelsea Bridge but
could not see her Says that the Deced told her
several times that her Brother had borrowed about
Twenty Pounds of her, and that now she was in
Distress, she could not get it from him. And his
Dept. says that for a fortnight past she has thought
that the Deced was, at times, Disordered in her house
