Ann< no role > the Wife of Daniel Bulfield< no role > on his Oath saith
That on Monday last (Nov.1st.) She was in her Shop with
her Husband when the Deced came into her Back Parlour
holding her Gown up to her Head, upon which Dept.
asked the Deced what was the Matter, to which Deced
Answered I have int my Throat, and Dept. saw that
her Throat was Cut. and bled very much
and Dept. believes that the Deced did cut her own Throat
Says that the Deced was very ill and low Spirited
on Saturday last, and told Dept. that she had not
slept, for many Nights before, Says that the Deced
told her on Monday Afternoon after she was put
into Bed, that she had not been in her Senses that
day before.

Richard Thompson< no role > of North Andley Street Surgeon
on his Oath saith, That on Monday last (Novr. 1st.) this
Dept. was desired to go to Mr. Bulfield in that Street
and went immediately and found the Deced Bleeding
from a large Wound in her Throat, after Examining
the Wound Dept. asked Deced who gave it her to which
she answered, Herself, God forgive me I am an
unhappy Creature, Says that he afterwards asked her
how she came to do the Deced, to which she answered
that she was an unhappy Woman and never thought
of Committing it until the Night before, and that she
was not in her Senses. Says that the Windpipe was
divided, that he Served up the Wound and Dressed it
and then thought that the Wound would prove Mortal,
Says that he attended the Deced and often talked
to her, but her Answers were very incoherent
which made him desire the Nurse to take the Knifes
and all Instruments from her, Says that the Deced
died Yesterday, and that the Wound in Deced's Throat
was the come of her Death.
