in the County of Midsex.

Informations taken this Fifteenth day of
November 1773 at the Parish of St. John the Evangelist within
the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex upon
an Inquisition touching the death of Buly Bladen< no role > late the
Wife of Benjamin Bladen< no role > lying dead in the said Parish
Liberty and County.

Mary Haggard< no role > Servant to Benjamin Bladen< no role > Victualler
in Mill Bank Street in the Parish of St. John the Evangelist Westmr
on her Oath saith That she has lived Servant there almost
Twelve months, That the Deced Buly Bladen< no role > her Mistress has
complained of a Pain in her Bowels about a fortnight, but went
above the House and did her Business untill last Thursday
Evening about Eleven o'Clock (Novr. 11th) when the Deced had
an Empty Bottle in her Hand and was going to fill it with
Geneva out of the Cellar, That as the Deced was going towards
the top of the Cellar Stairs, she said that she was very Sick
and believed that she should Vomit, Says that the Deced
then appeared to be very ill, Dept. believes that she was
then struck with Death, and Deced sat down at the bottom
of the Stairs, Says that she called her Master Mr. Bladen
who was then with Company in the Parlour, that he came
immediately, and helped the Deced to the Window in order
to get some Air, Says that the Deced said that she was Sick
and complained of the Pain in her Stomach and Bowels,
Says that Mr. Perrott the Apothecary was fetched who sent the
Deced some Medicines. and attended her the next day, but
Deced died that Evening (Novr. 12) Says that she has seen
Mr. Bladen Push the Deced more than once, & that she Deced was
Jealous of Mr. Bladen, That she does not Know that Mr
Bladen Pushed or Struck the Deced for three months last
past and upwards, and believes that the Deced died in a
natural way, and not by any hurt she reced from
her Husband or any other Person.
