in the said Parish Liberty and County.

on her Oath Saith that Martha Macarty< no role >
the Deced
used to come frequently to buy things in Depts. Shop
and that Depts. last at different times a pair of Shoes, a pair of Pattens,
two Coloured Aprons, a Shirt and a Cap on Thursday night last and asked
Deced if she had not taken them, upon which Deced
immediately confessed taking the Things, and went
with Dept. to a Pawn broker at the Corner of Coventry
Court
in the Hay Market
to whom the Things were Pawned
who produced the Shoes Pattens and the Apron, and
declared in Deced's presence that she had Pawned
them, Says that she took those Things, and desired
Deced to come to her next Morning to go with her to
fetch the rest of the Things, (which Deced said were
Pawned at Westmr.) to which Deced said that she should
not like to come there any more, and that Dept.
might call upon her, which Dept. died about Ten
o'Clock yesterday Morning and Knocked at the Door but
Deced would not open it, the she heard somebody
(which she believes to be Deced) walking in the Room
Says that she went her Maid for a Constable about
two o'Clock that Afternoon, who came to Dept.
and she followed him to Deced's Lodging at Mrs.
Facants in little Suffolk Street
, but found the Door
fastened, Says that she returned home leaving the
Constable with Mrs. Facant. Says that the Deced
on Thursday Night last looked very wild when Dept
was fastened in the Deced's room with her.
