Informations taken this Twenty first
day of February 1774 at the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square within the Liberty of Westmr. in the
County of Middlesex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Mary Cook< no role > lying dead in the
said Parish Liberty of County.

John Cook< no role > of South Moulton Street in the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square Carter on his Oath saith
That Mary Cook< no role > the Deced was Dept. Wife, and that
they Deced together at home on Thursday last
Febry 17th between Eleven and Twelve o'Clock says
that Dept. went out to his work at Twelve o'Clock
leaving the Deced at home alone, Says that he
did not see her afterwards alive, but was told
the next day that the Deced was dead, and was
in the Bone house belonging to St. George's Parish
where Dept. saw her, Says that he was
informed by Mr. [..] Flenning who lives near St.
Gyles church that the Deced was there on Thursday
last about four o'Clock and drank a Glass and
an half of Geneva there, Says that the Deced
was very found of Liquor and was frequently
drunk, and Dept believes that the Deced died
in a natural Way. Says that he was informed
by Mr. Roberts that he saw the Deced lying down by St. George
Church on Thursday last about five o'Clock
in the afternoon.
