Lawrence of Brown< no role > of Oxford Street surgeon
beeing sworn deporeth and saith that on
Saturday Evening last (the 8th. Instt.) about
8 o'Clock in the Evening the within of the
deceased brought the said Mary Johnson< no role > to him
when at that time was entirely ne [..] ted and the
breaft and back of her was very much hurrt
and likewise the Face and even her Tongue
was blisterd and notwithstanting was still
unibbe and this Deponent asked her when
she felt pain and she answered all over
her whereupon this Deponent tyed the
most proper means for her Recovery but
without effect as she expired about two.
o' Clock the next Morning (Sunday)
and this Deponent further saith that he
was informed that the Deceased said that
whilst her Parents were gone out of the
Room she took the Candle to muff it [..]
by some means r other her Cloaths caught
on Till which she could not extinguish and
therefore ran out of the Room for Assistance
