taken this 15th day of Octr. 1799 in the
Parish of St. James at the Dwelling
House of John James Fontanar< no role > the
Sign of the Crown in Upper James
Street in the Liberty aforesaid before
Anthoney Gell< no role > his Majesty's
Coroner for the said City & Liberty
touching the Death of Dr. Geore
Wilson then and there lying
dead as follow, to Wit.

Joseph Smart< no role > of No.3 Upper James Street
Golden Square being Sworn deporeth as
follows to Wit. That the deceased has lodged
with me ever since the 25th. of July last and
from divers Circumstances I am throughly
convinced that he was deanged in his Mind,
That between 7 and 8 o Clock of on Friday Morning the fourth Instant,
he was seen to go out of my house with his
Handkerchief up to his Throat, and between
9 and ten the same morning he was brought
