Informations of Witnesses taken
this 22d. October 1799 atin the
Parish of St. Margaret at the House
of William Money< no role > called the Half
Way House Knightsbridge Road
before Anthony Gell< no role > Coroner
for the said City and Liberty
touching the Death of Thomas Milton< no role >
then and there lying dead as follow
to Wit.

Joseph Charters< no role > Waggoner or Driver of the Exeter
Waggon belonging to Mr. Wilson of the Swan and
two Necks Lack Lane being sworn deposeth as
follows to Wit That Yesterday the 21st. Instantas
we, were loaded Goods driving the said Waggon draw by six Horses from the Halfway
House on the Road from Kensington to Knights
bridge , the said Thomas Milton< no role > who was the Guard to the Waggon had the Whip
in his hand and Stood close to the Horses and as
he made a Stroke with the Whip at one of the Horses in order to make the Horses
