An Inquisition Indented, taken for our Sovereign taken for our Sovereign Lord the
King, at the Parish of Saint Margaret at the Half way House Knightsbridge William Money< no role >
within the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of Collegiate Church
of st. Peter, Westminster , in the County of Middlesex , the twenty second day of October
in the thirty ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third,
by the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith,
and so forth, before Anthony Gell< no role > , Esq . Coroner of our said Lord the King for the said City
and Liberty, on View of the Body of Thomas Milton< no role > then and there
lying dead, upon the Oath of the several Jurors whose Names are here under written, and
Seals affixed, good and lawful Men of the said Liberty, duly chosen, who being then and
there duly sworn and charged to enquire for our said Lord the King, when, how, and by
what Means the said Thomas Milton< no role > came to h is Death, do upon
their Oath say that the said Thomas Milton< no role > on the twenty first day of
October in the Year of aforesaid, driving a certain Waggon drawn by
six Horses and loaded with sundry kings of Goods in a Common High
way called KensingtonRoad leading from the Half WayHouse
to Knights bridge . And the said Thomas Milton< no role > having the Whip
in his Hands and making a Stoke at one of the Horses in order
to make him go one his Foot slipped. And the said Thomas Milton< no role >

accidentally falling unto the Ground near unto the Wheels
of the said Waggon, It so Happened that accidetally
and by Misfortune the Fore Near Wheel of the said
Waggon did then and there go upon and over the Body of the
said Thomas Milton< no role > , by Means whereof the the said Thomas
Milton
< no role > then and there received a mortal Bruise on the Right said
of his Leins, of which said mortal Bruise he the said Thomas
Milton
< no role > then and there instantly died, And so the Jurors aforesaid
upon their Oath aforesaid do say, That the said Thomas Milton< no role >
in Manner and by the Means aforesaid, accidentally, Casually
and by Misfortune came to his Death, and not otherwise. And
that the said Fore Near wheel of the Said Waggon so drawn as
aforesaid was moved to the Death of the said Thomas Milton< no role > and
is of the Value of one Shilling and the Property & in the Possession of
Wilson of the Seven & two Necks Lad Lane in the Parish of
London Yeoman, or of his Assigns.

I WITNESS whereof, as well the said Coroner as the said Jurors, have to this Inqusition
set their Hands and Seals the Day, Year, and Place first above written
