Sarah Ward< no role > aged 27 years or thereabouts
upon her Oath saith that she was
Married to Arthur Ward< no role > This name instance is in set 3894. her now Husband
who is now in Newgate under Sentence
of Transportation at the Parish
Church of Saint Giles Cripplegate above
four years ago by Limm that her
said Husband has informed this
Examinant that his Parish in Saint
Giles Cripplegate aforesaid and that he
is legally setled then by Virtue of his
father having served an Apprenticeship
to Malson or Cabinet maker at
Barbican in the said Parish and
this Examinant believes her said
Husband has never gained any
other Settlement Saith that she
has one Child now living by her said
Husband namely Ann Ward< no role > aged 15
Months and that she is poor and
unable to maintain herself and
said Child

Sworn this 25th July
1788 before us}
