Singlewoman maketh Oath & saith that she on the
8th- Day of June last was brought a bed of a Female
Bastard Child at the house of Wm- Mr- Wills< no role > a Taylor
in Clements Lane in the Psh of St- Clemt- Danes in the
Liberty of Westmr - & Co- of Middx which Child was
begotten on her Body by Thos- Mann< no role > late of Chicester
afsd- Breeches Maker & now living at Mr- Wills as
afsd- who had carnal Knowl of her Body first at
Southampton & aftwds- sevl- times at Chicester afsd-
from whence they came to the said Mr. Wills and this
Dept- further saith that no other pson but the sd-
Thos- Mann< no role > had carnal Knowl of her Body & that
the sd- Thomas Mann< no role > is the Father of the sd- Child
of which she was so Delivd- as afsd- And this Dept-
furr- saith that the said Child is likely to become
chargeable to the sd- Parish of St- Clemt- Danes the
said Thos- Mann< no role > threatning to leavethe said Ann
Bullen< no role > her and her said Child to the Care of the Pshs
