to wit Margaretta Davies< no role > aged about
32 years upon her Oath saith that on or about
the Seventeenth day of January 1785 she Intermarried
with David Davies< no role > This name instance is in set 893. her present Husband who is now
from her at the Parish Church of Saint Andrew
Holborn by whom she hath no Child or Children
living That her said Husband Rented a Second
floor Unfurnished of a Mr. Staples No. 6 Stanhope
Street in the parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
Liberty of Westminster for Three Months at the
yearly Rent of Thirteen Pounds That he hath
Quitted said Apartments about Sixteen Months
since which time he hath not to the best of this
Examinants knowledge Information or belief
Rented any house Tenement or Lodging of Ten
pounds a year paid Taxes or done any Act
Matter or thing whereby he might have gained a
Subsequent Settlement And further this Deponent
upon her Oath saith that her said Husband has
deserted her and refuses to Allow her any support
That she is poor and unable to maintain herself
therefore iswithout assistance from the Officers
of the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
