The Minutes of the last Meeting read and confirmed.
The Clerk having laid before this Committee a Bill from Peter Balchen
& Co. for Lighting Lamps on the Subsisting Contract in the Strand
Etc. from the
25th. March last to the 24th. June last amounting to £36:11s:3d It is ordered that
Mr. George do pay into the hands of the Commissioners Treasurer the said Sum
of £36.11s.3d in order to discharge such Bill.

amounting to £28.3s.3d for Business
done by him on Account of New Paving
Milford Lane Little Essex Street
Clare Court
Carey Street Portugal and Serle Street being also laid before this Committee which
being read and the Supervisor to this Committee certifying that he had inspected
the same Work and the Charges in the said Bill which he certifyed to be true
It is ordered that the said Bill be transmitted to the Commissioners for
Payment out of the Moneys for New Paving and for that purpose this Committee
signed the same.
Ordered that Mr. Bromley do fix up the Lamp Irons which are
Reported to be loose in Portsmout Street and Strand Lane
.
Mr. Anderson complaining that the Grate of the Shore is fixed under his
Parlour Window in Essex Street
It is ordered that Mr. Banister do Report there on
at the next Meeting.
It being proposed to remove the Pump from the Place in now stands in
Clements Lane It is ordered that Mr. Banister do inspect the same and if necessary
