having proposed to clean each Street Etc. once a Week and to gather the Ashes oftener
if required by the Committee at £150. for one Year; for two Years at £147 per Annum and for three
Years at £145 Per Annum and this Committee having taken the said several Proposals into
Consideration It was resolved that the Committee Contract with the said Alexander
Anderson
< no role > for Cleaning this Parish (except the Optional Streets) for three Years from
Midsumer day at the Rate of £145 for each Year and that the Clerk Prepare a
Contract accordingly.

And Robert Young< no role > and John Pollard< no role > having proposed to take up and relay old
Pavement in the Carriage way at 11d. pr. Yard and for New Purbeck Paving 5s:1d. and to
relay old Paving at 9d. per Yard and to Pave Milk yard with materials to be delivered
at 11d. And William Meredith< no role > and Thomas Lovett< no role > having proposed to take up and Cart
away the Old Materials out of Little Stanhope Street and to Cart in other Materials
found by the Committee and to Pave the same Street at 1s:9d. per Yard and Cooks Court
with Purbeck Paving or such as it is already Paved with at 6s. per Yard Devereux Court
and Nagshead Court at 5s:6d. per Yard. Milk Yard and to Cart the old Materials at
1s:2d. and to Square and relay the Old at 10d per Yard-And John Wynn< no role > having
proposed to Pave Cooks Court with Purbeck Paving on the Arris at per Yard 6s:3d. and
the same with Purbeck Paving not in Courses at 5s:4d. and Devereux Court and
Nagshead Court with Purbeck Paving at 5s: 4d. per Yard and Milk Yard with old
Materials-And this Committee having taken the said several proposals into
Consideration It was Resolved that the Committee Contract with the said
Meredith and Lovatt for doing the several Works according to their said Proposal
and that the Clerk prepare a Contract accordingly.

And the said William Meredith and Thomas Lovatt having in pursuance of
an Advertisement from this committee proposed to Repair the Footways of the several
Streets Courts Etc at 6s. per yard, or per foot 8d. and the Purbeck Curb at per foot
1s:8d and the Moorstone Ditto at 1s:6d to relay any old Kirb at 3d. and to relay
such Old Paving as shall be appointed at 10d-which proposal being taken into
Consideration by the Committee It was also Resolved that this Committee
[..] Agree with the said Meredith & Lovatt for doing the Repairs in
the footways of the several Streets Etc. according to their said Proposal for one
Year from Midsumer day next and that the Clerk prepare an Agreemt. accordingly.

And P: Dodd having in pursuance of an Advertisement from this Committee
Proposed to Paint the Lamp Irons in this Parish at 1s:9d per Dozn: twice over and Robert
Hyde for every Iron once in oyl 3/2d. twice 4/2d. & three times 6d. and Wm. Arpin twice in
oyl for 4d. per Iron three times 5d. and Chas. Lane twice in oil at 1d: each It was
resolved that this Committee Agree with the said Chas. Lane to Paint the same at 1d for each
Iron

Adjourned to the 9th. Instant at six o'Clock
