Examination TextEleanor Pinkethman aged about 29 now in the Workho past from St Giles's Saith she is the wife of Samuel Pinkethman who now lives wth his ffather in Langley Street Long Acre to whom she was married in the Libty of the Kings Bench by a Minister of the Church of England about 7 years agoe Saith he is by Trade a Taylor & Served some pt of his time wth his ffather in Cheshire & the latter part in Langley Street LognAcre but how long can't tell saith he never kept ho or Rented 10£ Pr Ann Saith he was a Soldier & was sent away from the Savoy the 23d of July 1722 to Gibralter & came home the latter end of June last and that she this Deponent During her sd husbands Alehouse never heard from him by Letter nor never saw him Since but Saith that one Mr Wells a Sailor informed her about 1 year and half agoe that her sd husband was certainly deced & that she this Deponent was on the 8th Day of march last Married at ye ffleet to one John Lewis a Shoemaker by whom she is now great wth Child & that he the sd John Lewis is the true & only ffather thereof & no Man else
