Examination TextSarah Perree aged abt 25 years now in the Workhouse past from St Giels in the fields Saith she is the widow of John Perree who died about 2 years agoe was married to him at a Church in the City of London about 9 years agoe the name whereof she can't remember Saith he was by Trade a Coppersmith & was an Apprentice to Bear in Jaines Street near Covent Garden whom he Serv'd abt 3 years & 1/2 and then his Mother bought of the remr of his time, Saith he Rented a Shop & Rooms of Mr Knocks in Cross Lane Long Acre in this Parish & pd for the same 16£ Pr Ann Rent Saith the sd Shop & Room were intire and that none of the Lodgers had Communicacon through the same there being an Entry through which they went to their respecting Appartments kept the same about 1 year and an half and after that Rented a Shop and two Rooms in St Martins Lane & pd 12£ Pr Ann left the same about 3 years agoe and never kept house or Rented 10£ Pr Ann Since hath one Child Elizabeth Aged about 5 years with her Relations somewhere in Town.
