Examination TextElizabeth Beezeley aged 66 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. James within the liberty of Westminster upon her oath saith that she is the widow of John Beezeley (who died the 6th day of January in the year 1752) to whom she was married at the Fleet about 23 years ago, that her said husband was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Prejolas a Peruke Maker in that part of Newport Street which is in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his said Master about three years, and then his said Master died, and her said husband had his indenture given up to him, that her said husband never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together after the death of his said Master, nor hath she this Examinant since the death of her said husband. Sworn the 12th Day of December 1767 before Peter Planck.
