Examination TextThomas Sanders aged 45 Years upon his Oath saith that he is the leather worker by Trade & that he lived in and rented a House of Mr Gray in St Martins Lane in Marygold Court Strand in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields for the space of Three Months at the Yearly Rent of Twelve Pounds quitted the same in the Year 1785 since which he has not rented Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Parliamentary or are Parochial taxes not done any act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that she was Married to his present Wife Ann at the Parish Church of Saint Nicholas in the City of Worcester August 19th 1770 by whom he has four Children (to wit) William born May 1st/75 Esther born May 30th/79 Christian born December 25th/89 & John born May 25th/92 that the said William was never bound Apprentice not gained any settlement in his own right. Sworn this 21st Day of September 1793 before John Collick Thomas Sanders
