Thomas Martin< no role > maketh oath That
divers Years ago he was hired & lived as a hired Servant
by the Year with George Dought< no role > near Salt Petre Bank
in the Parish of Saint John Wapping in the County
of Middlesex Sugar Refiner at the yearly Wages
of Sixteen Guineas & Continued in such Service for the
Space of Three years & upwards & by means thereof
gained a legal Settlement there That he this Deponent
has not Since rented a house or Shop of the yearly Rent or
Value of Ten pounds or Served any Parish office or paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain
a Subsequent Settlement & that he hath a Wife named
Mary< no role > to whom he was lawfully married.
