Mary Hawker< no role > Singlewoman maketh
oath That divers Years ago She was bound Apprentice to
one Mr Watson of Church Yard Alley in the parish of St
Botolph without Aldgate in the Said County to be taught
& instructed by his Wife the Trade & Business of a Mantus
maker & Served the whole of Such her Apprenticeship in the
Said Parish & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there
That She this Deponent was never Married nor ever lived as
a hired Servant for a year nor ever rented a house of Ten
pounds a year or ever paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes
nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlement Subsequent
to her Apprenticeship.
