deced maketh oath that her late husband has informed her
& Which she believes to be true That he was born in Yeovill
in the County of Somerset Where She this Depont was also
born & this Deponent Can give no Account respecting the
Settlement of her Parents or eithr of them or of the Settlement
of her husbands Parents or eithr of them That her sd husband
to her knowledge or belief never rented a house of the Yearly Rent
of Ten pounds nor ever Served any Parish office or ever paid
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did any Act to gain a
Settlement for himself Save What he might have Acquired by
his Apprenticeship in manner as is herein after mentioned
That is to Say That She this Deponent has been farther informd
by her Said husband & which She believes to be true that
he was bound Apprentice to & Served part of his time with a person
who was by Trade a Shoemaker but whose name She has forgot it
the Parish of Chittenhold in the County of Dorset & that he Served
the Residue of Such Apprenticeship with another Person who
was also by Trade of a Shoemaker in the Parish of Overshott
in the Same County but with which Master he served the first
or last part of his Apprenticeship She Cannot at this distance
of time recollect or Set forth & therefore She Cannot discover in
Which of the Parishes her said husband was Settled at the
time of his death That She this Deponent hath a Child named
Samuel< no role > Aged about Twenty Months the lawful Issue of this
Deponent by her Said husband to Whom she was married in
the Parish Church of Saint Luke in the County of Middlesex
