John Lawrence< no role > maketh oath that many
years ago he was duly bound Apprentice to Willm. Bass< no role >
of Queen Street in the parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate in the County of Middlesex Baker & Served
Four years of Such Apprenticeship &then this Depont
Master becoming insolvent went From & left his Dwelling
house in Queen Street aforesd & this Depont has not Since
heard from his Sd Master That he this Depont has not Since
lived as a hired Servant for a year nor rented a house of the
Yearly Rent or Value of Ten pounds nor Served any parish
office or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor done
any Act to gain a Settlement Subsequent to his Apprenticeship
& that he hath a Wife named Alice< no role > to whom he was lawfully
Married
