Ann Smith< no role > Single woman maketh oath that
Sometime ago She was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the
Year with one Mr Chamberlain in Hounds ditch in the Parish
of St Botolph without Aldgate in ye City of London Cock Founder &
Continued in Such Service at the Yearly Wages of Five Pounds
for the Space of one Year & upwards & by means thereof gained
a legal Settlement there That She this Depont. has not Since
lived elsewhere as a hired Servant for the Space of a Year nor
was She ever married nor hath She done any Act to her
Knowledge or belief to gain a Subsequent Settlement
