The Voluntary Examination of Catherine
Doe
< no role > of the Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the
Said County Singlewoman taken on oath before me one of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace in and for the Said
County this 19th. Day of December 1775 .

Who Saith that on the Twenty Fifth day of November last
past in the Workhouse of the Said Parish She this Examinant
was delivered of a Female Bastard Child Which hath
been Since Baptized & Registred by the name of Catherine Doe< no role >
And that the Said Bastard Child is become Chargeable to
the Said Parish And that one Arthur Faser< no role > William Smith< no role > late of the
Said Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate Armorer Musician and
now on Board the Ship Talbot on a Voyage to the East Indies
did get her with Child of the Said Bastard Child.
