That about Forty Years ago She was bound Apprentice by the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Botolph George in the County of Middlesex to one Elizabeth
Lawes
< no role > of Petticoat Lane in the parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate in the City of London who Carried on the Business
of a Chandler & Served about Four Years of her Apprenticeship
there & they this Deponent & her Mistress parted by Consent
& her Indres were delivered up for the purpose of being Cancelld
That She this Deponent has not Since lived as a hired Servant
for a year nor rented a house of the yearly Rent of Ten
pounds or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor was She
ever married nor hath She done any Act to gain a Settlemt
Subsequent to Such her Apprenticeship.
