Griffins Wharf in the Parish of Saint Olave with in the
Borough of Southwark
maketh Oath and saith that last
Saturday Sennight about the hour of nine in the Night
Dept. the deceased and one Robert Jones< no role >
were going
off to said Vessel in Boat belonging to the Nancy Sloop
belonging, to Chicherter-that the side was running down
were strong, [..] that whom said Boat had got to said Vessel the Catherine Dept. deced. Jones [..] went to the fore part of the fore
Chairs of the said vessel called the Catherine-that Dept. got out of said
Boat first, that the deceased followed him that Dept.
had source got on Board said Vessel when he heard the
deceased fall down into the water-that Dept [..]
[..] has known the deceased about four Years
that he was Mariner belonging to the James Brig of
Barmouth
in North Wales whereof Lewis Williams< no role >
is Masters that Dept. and the deceased were upon
very good terms and that his falling down into the Water
and before stated was intriely accidentally
