An Inquisition Indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London, that is to say, at
the parish of Saint Bridget otherwise Bride in the ward of Farringdon without in London aforesaid on the
Eighth day of October in the thirtieth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of
Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman
Coroner of our said Lord the King for the City of London and Borough of Southwark on view of the body of
Thomas Davis< no role > now here lying dead by the Oath of Cornelius Crowley< no role > , Samuel Oughton< no role > , Bartholomew Fitzgerald< no role >
William Stitt< no role > , William Barnett< no role > William Hand< no role > , Samuel Rowe< no role > , James Rogers< no role > , John Head< no role > , John Cashin< no role >
William Davis< no role > and Arthur Hicks good and lawful Men of the City of London aforesaid who being now here duly
chosen sworn and charged to Inquire for our said Lord the King when how and in what manner the said
Thomas Davis< no role > came to his death say upon their Oath that the said Thomas Davis< no role > on the seventh day of October
in the Year aforesaid at the parish and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid being a Prisoner in His Majesty< no role > 's
Prison of the Fleet and being sick and diseased in Body by reason of a certain Asthma of the said Asthma did
languish and languishing did live until the said seventh day of October On which said seventh day of October in
the Year aforesaid at the parish and Ward aforesaid in London aforesaid the said Thomas Davis< no role > did die And
so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said Thomas Davis< no role > by the visitation of God
died a natural death and by no violent means or method whatsoever In Witness whereof as well
the Coroner as the said Cornelius Crowley< no role > the Foreman of the said Jurors on behalf of himself and the rest
of his Fellows in their presence have to this Inquisition set their hands and Seals the day year and place first
above written.
