Deposition of a Witness taken at London
that is to say, at the Parish of Christchurch
in the Ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid this 20th: day of January 1794
on view of the Body of John Ireland< no role > now
here lying Dead

Joseph Burford< no role > a Prisoner in His Majesty's Gaol of
Newgate maketh Oath that he hath known the deced
John Ireland< no role > from the 9th. day of December last
that he was also a Prisoner in the said Gaol That that Day he camehe hath been
in the Sick Ward where Dept attends ill with the Palsy
that he continued in the Sick Ward until the 4th. Decr2nd instt.when
getting better he went from the Sick Ward-that on the 2nd.
January he came in to the Sick Ward again having had or
relapse that on that Day he had a fit of Apoplexy
that he continued to get worse from that time until Friday
Night last when he departed this Life that he was at Waded
by the Surgeon of the said Gaol and Dept. has no doubt the
aforesaid Complaints or casioned the deceds Death.
