Middlesex To wit


The Information of Robert Nicholson< no role > Mariner
belonging to the Prince of Wales a Vessel in the
Dublin Trade, William Briscoe< no role > Commander
taken before me this 28th. day of June
1768

Who being upon Oath says that last Sunday Night about
11 o'Clock as he was going from a Public House in Black
house Yard East Smithfield to go to his Ship he was stopped in the
said Black house yard by a Boy who asked him what he had in his pockets
that he pushed the said Boy away upon a which a Man came up
immediately and knocked this Informt. down and helds his hands
over his face & said that if he spoke a Word he would cut this
Informant's Throat, and that another person rifled his pockets &
took out a Guinea Quarter Guinea & some Silver and went
away, that after some Time a Watchman came to him with whom
he went to the Watch house, and this Informant further says that
he does suspect and verily believe that a Boy now present who
calls himself Francis Sullivan< no role > is the same Boy who stopt
him in the Black house Yard as aforesaid, and that two Men
now present who call themselves Patrick Barn and Samuel
Cracraft
< no role > are the same two Men who knocked him down and
robbed him as aforesaid
