The Information of Martha Aggiss< no role > taken before me one
of his Majestys Justice of the peace in and for the said
County the 2d day of August in the year of our Lord 1770

This Informant [..] upon her Oath saith that on Monday Evening
last about Twelve o Clock being in bed at her Lodging on Salt Petre Bank she heard a great outery
in the Street and heard some person say spare my life for god
Soke, saith that she got out of bed and went to the window
and though up the sash and looked out of the window, and saw
[..] three Men one of whom she knew to be one James Simpson< no role >
saith that she saw the said Simpson pull of a Coat and Waistcoat
from a person who then lay on the Ground, and immediately
after simpson said to the said person Dam yom Eyes you
Buggar run for your Life, and Hen saw the said person go away
