The Humble Petition & Appeal of
the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary
Staining London

Sheweth

That by Vertue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the hands and Seals of your Lordship & Sr. Richard
Brocas Knt. Two of his Majestie's Justices of the Peace
for the City of London and the Liberties thereof (One
being of he Quorum) bearing date the Twenty third day
of August last Anne Diggle< no role > Widow of Samuel Diggle< no role >
deceased, was Removed from the Parish of Saint Bridget
Vulgarly Saint Brides London, unto the said Parish of
Saint Mary Staining London, Alledging the said Parish
of Saint Mary Staining , to be the place of her last Legal
Settlement.

That Your Petitioners Conceiving
themselves Aggreived by the said Warrant or
Order, Do Appeale to Your Lordship and
Worships therefrom, and humbly pray that
you will be pleased to hear them in the Premises
And that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Bridget
Vulgarly St. Brides may Appear before you to
hear and abide the Judgment and Determination
of your Lordship and Worships touching this
Appeale
