but this Deponent being informed by them that they did not know
Therefore this Deponent did on the Twenty first day of January last
apply to the said Mr. Ingham to know where the Prosecutor was to be
found to Serve him with such Notice when the said Mr. Ingham told
this Deponent he did not know as he had not seen him since the time
of finding the Indictment or did he know of any process having
Issued thereon or that Defendants had Bailed the same but that
he should see the prosecutor the next day and would learn where he
was to be found but at all Even to he would Accept [..] of the
Notice of the Tryal of such Traverse for the Prosecutor And this
Deponent Thomas Beswick< no role > for himself further Saith That
about the latter end of January or beginning of February last
the said Mr. Ingham called again at this Deponents House when
this Deponent Reproached the said Mr. Ingham with telling
the Deponent Bexwell that he did not know that any process
had issued upon such Indictment when he before had told
this Deponent that a Warrant had Issued thereon and was
in the hands of the said Mr. Clarke Whereupon the said Mr.
Ingham told this Deponent that Although he had Consented
to Accept of such Notice of Tryal to Save this Deponent Expence
yet for this Deponents then Language he would not so do and
that this Deponent might find out the Prosecutor as he could
or to that Effect And this Deponent John Bexwell< no role > for
himself further Saith That on the Sixteenth day of February
last he applied to the said Mr. Ingham in Order to Serve him
with such Notice when the said Mr. Ingham said he had not
seen the Prosecutor since the Twenty second day of January
last and then shewed this Deponent his Bill Book wherein
were entered the Attendances on preferring usual Indictment
and the Money laid out of Pockett for the same But Doubted
if that was sufficient to Authorize him to Accept of such
Notice or Whether this Honorable Court would think such
Service on him sufficient Whereupon this Deponent asked
him Whether he then knew where the Prosecutor was to be
found to which he replied he did not but that he would give
this Deponent a direction to a Mrs. Sarah Margett< no role > in Orchard
Street Westminster who could tell And Accordingly on the
Eighteenth day of February last this Deponent applied to
the said Mrs. Margett for that purpose in whose Company his
Deponent saw a Man who said he was Brother to the Prosecutor
and that he was to be with the said Mr. Ingham the next
Morning and to be found and heard of at the Sign of the Ship
Publick house Charing Cross and at No. 14 Suffolk Street Charing
Cross to which places this Deponent went but no such person
was known at the Sign of the Ship and at No. 14 Suffolk Street
this Deponent was Informed by a young Woman that the
Prosecutor had Dined there a few days before with her Father
as being an Old Acquaintance but where he lodged or was to
be found she could not and was sure her Father could not tell
upon which this Deponent on the Nineteenth day of February
last again applied to the said Mr. Ingham and informed him
of the Result of such Inquirys and to know if he had seen the
Prosecutor
