that there being an Outcry of munther in
Mutton lane last might between 12 & 1 a clock
be being a watchman found Susanna Browne< no role >
in a Cloud yt Condition who told this infor-
mant that she had been rob'd by a Soldjer
& this Informant went to search in Vine
Count & discovered ye Prisoner Arthur Rat-
clyff
< no role > had leaped over high Pales & this
informant changed him with robbery &
he replyed he would have only layd with
[..] a woman & this Informant brought him to ye
Constable & soon after went to search for what
had been stolne & found ye sd pockett & pause pro [..]
duced in ye place where ye Prisoner was taken

The Examinate sayth yt last night he had been at ye her
browens in Woods Close & fearing it was too
late to get into his quanters at ye Castle in
Clerkenwell Green came through Mutton
Lane with intent to goe to ye lilt yard &
hearing an outcry in ye Street went into
Vine Court to avoyd ye watch having alleny
-ed to have lain with a woman in yt Street
but ye Examinate denies yt he robd her
