County of Midd widow taken upon Oath before me Joshua
Galliard< no role > Esqr one of his Maties. Justices of the peace for the said
County the 26th. day of May Anno Dui 1698.

The said Thomasin Darnell Maketh Oath That yesterday being ye 25th.
day of this instant May the wall neare the back dore of her dwelling
house stituate near Burts Farmd in Edmonton aforesaid was broken
ye bolt of ye dore put back & ye dore opened (she & her daughter being
both abrsad) And that one hat made of shavings, two gownes, two
petticoats & many peices of linnen cloth wch were yesterday found in the
possession of Elizabeth< no role > [..] wife of Thomas Hales< no role > (as she saith)
are the poor goods of this Informant & Margarett Darnell< no role > her
daughter feloniously stoln out of her said house.
