P adjorn veneris 18o. die May 1716

Whereas upon reading the humble peticon of Samuel White< no role > of
Crawn otherwise the parish of St. Paul Shadwell in this County Cordwainer exhited unto this
Court settingforth that the Petr. is chose one of the Headboroughs
of the said parish for this present yeare, that he is a deaf man &
hath severall infirmitys upon him in his head, but more especially
occasioned by his sitting up in the watchhouse & serveing the sd.
Office, that the Petr. hath applyed to the Inhitants of the sd. parish to
releive him from the sd. office, but they refused soe to doe unless
the petr. would pay a fine, And the Petr. praying that this Court
would discharge him from serveing the sd Office, It was
Ordered by this Court that John Andrews< no role > one of the Inhitants
of the sd parish of St. Paul Shadwell & all persons concerned
should attend this Court on this day to shew cause why the Petr.
should not be discharged from serveing the Office of Headborough
within the sd. parish, and [..] why the sd John Andrews< no role > should
not be appointed Headborough within the sd parish in the room
& place of the Petr.; and take his oath for his due execucon of
the said Office of Headborough, Now upon hearing of what
was insisted on by Councell for the Petr. & alsoe by Councell
for the Inhabitants of the said parish This Court is of opinion
that the petr. ought to be discharged from serveing the sd. Office of
Headborough, And doth accordingly order that the Petr. be and he
is hereby discharged from beingserveing the office ofHeadborough [..] of
the sd parish of st Paul Shadwell , And doth further
And dothorder that it be And It is hereby Recomended unto Robt.
Kyrby< no role > [..] Bastwick Johnson< no role > John Poulson< no role > Esqrs . [..]
of the peace for this County or any& other his Maties. Justices of
the peace for this County inhabiting in or neare the sd parish
