hath pleaded not guilty to an Indictment agt. him for speaking
Seditions Words agt. his Majesty is remanded to his Majesty's
Goale of Newgate for want of sufficient Suretys for his pson
Appearance at the next Sessions of Oyer and Terminer to
be held for this County to psecute his Traverse with effect
upon the said Indictment and he is ordered to said such
Suretys himselfe in two hundred pounds and two Suretys in
one hundred pounds each before John Milner< no role > Esqr . one of his
Majestys Justices of the peace and Oyer and Terminer for
this County and the said Mr. Milner is desired to give the
names of the Suretys that are offered to him for the said
Benson to Anthony Crachrode< no role > Esqr . or his order, to the Eudle
may Examine into the same and approve thereof before
the same are taken, to remaine till he gives such Suretys
then to be delivered paying his Fees 4s:8d:

Is convicted of a Trespasse and fined 1s. wch is ordered to be
estreated and he is ordered to be delivered out of his Majtys.
Goale of Newgate and is comitted to the house of Correccon
at Clerkenwell in this County there to be kept to hard
labour for the Space of fourteen days then to be delivered
paying his Fees 4s:8d.
