To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
[..] Precinct of Norwood
in the County of Middlesex
and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
parish of Fawely
in the County of Bucks

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said [..] Precinct
of Norwood unto Us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one of the Quorum) for the county Middx aforesaid,
That Samuel Barney< no role > and Ann< no role > his wife with
their five Children (to wit) william< no role > & Frances< no role >
Twins aged about five Years, Thomas< no role > aged
about four Years and Elizabeth< no role > and Mary< no role >
Twins aged about ten Months have
lately intruded themselves into your said [..] Precinct
of Norwood.
there to inhabit asParishioners contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the poor, and are there like to become chare-
able, if not timely prevented: And Whereas, upon due Examina-
tion and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon Oath of the
said Samuel Barney< no role >
it appears Us, and We accordingly adjudge, that the said
Samuel Barney< no role > is

like to become chargeable unto the said [..] Precinct
of Norwood and that the last legal Place
of Settlement of the said Samuel Barney Ann his
Wife and their said five Children is in the said Parish of
Fawley in the County of Bucks

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said [..]
Precinct of Norwood [..] that you,
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said Samuel
Barney
< no role > Ann his wife and their said five
Children from your said [..] Precinct of
Norwood to the said Parish of Fawley
and them deliver
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, of some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof: whereby they ar likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the said Samuel Barney< no role > Ann his wife
and their said Five Children
into their said Parish and Provide for them
as their own Parishioners Given under our Hands and Seals, the
Nineteenth Day of August in the Year of our
Lord one thousand seven Hundred and Thirty six
