WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto
us two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex (one being Quorum) by
the Church -wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St.Giles in ye Fields in the said County, That
Joseph Forward< no role > and mary< no role > his wife are

lately come [..]
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge That They are likely
to become Chargeable to the said Parish, and upon Exami
nation of the said Joseph Forward< no role >
taken upon Oath, it further appeareth unto us,
and we do likewise adjudge, That the parish of
St. Mary Aldermanbury in the
City of London is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the said Joseph Forward< no role > & wife

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-Warden and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Parish of St. Giles in the Fields
forthwith to remove and convey the said Joseph Forward< no role > [..]
wife from the said Parish of St.Giles in the
fields to the said
Parish of St. Mary Aldermanbury and deliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, or to some or one of them who are hereby re
quired to provide for them according to Law; Given un
der our Hands and Seals the 26th Day of June 1736

To the Church wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
St.Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middlesex
and St. Mary Aldermanbury
in the City of London
and to all other Officers whom it may
