At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden
for the County of Middx at Hickshall in St. John street in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Monday the Seventh Day of December in the
twenty first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great
Britain Etc

It is Ordered by this Court that the within named Robert Read< no role > have notice of this
appeal, And that he and all persons concerned do attend this Court on Thursday
next at ten of the clock in the forenoon to hear & abide the Judgment & determination
of this Court touching the matters contained in the said [..] petition,

Nehemiah Cowley< no role > gentleman maketh oath that on the seventh day
of December instant he went to the house of the Respondent Robert Read< no role >
and the said Robert Read< no role > 's wife came down stairs but refused to open
the door but desired this Dept. to put any paper he had Saher or her
Husband thro' the Key hole and thereupon this Deponent put
a true copy of the above Petition and order through the Keyhole
and he saw her late it up and carry it away
