To the Rt. Worshipful His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the
County of Middlesex in their general Session Assembled

The Humble Petition & appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the
said County.

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of George Howard< no role > and Richard Manley< no role > Esqrs. Two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westmr.
bearing date the 20t. Day of November 1747 Jane May< no role > Widow was
removed from the Parish of St. Margaret in the City of Westmr. in this
County to the Parish of St. George Hanover Square in the County aforesaid
as the place of her last Legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners
think themselves aggrieved and Appeal to this Court against the same

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Pray this Court
will please to appoint a time for hearing and determining
the said Appeal and that all persons concerned may then
attend

And Your Petitionrs. shall ever pray Etc
