Assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles
without Cripplegate London

Sheweth


That By Virtue of a Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals ofLord Carpenter and Thomas Rea< no role > Esquire
two of his Majesties Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date
the Twenty Ninth day of July last past Sarah Elwood< no role > the
Widow of John Elwood< no role > aged about Forty years, And her two
Children by her said late Husband deceased (to wit) Elizabeth< no role >
aged about Six years and Lucy< no role > aged about three years were
Removed from the parish of Saint George Hanover Square
In the County of Middlesex to the said parish of Saint Giles
Cripplegate in the City of London as the place of their last
Legal Settlement

That your petitioners Conceive themselves aggrieved by
the said Warrant or Order and humbly appeal against the same

Your petitioners therefore humbly pray
That your Worships will be pleased to
appoint a Day of this present Session That
all parties may Attend to hear & abide
the Judgment and Determinacon of
this Court touching the said appeal
