theCountyofMiddlesex and to the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of theParish
of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate London

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County ofMiddlesex aforesaid
(one whereof being of the Quorum) by the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of St. James Clerkenwell ThatMartha< no role > the Wife
of William Burroughs< no role > who hath deserted and left her
and her three Children namely James< no role > aged about
Seven Years William< no role > aged about five Years and
John< no role > aged about twelve Months
lately intruded, and
came into the saidParish of St. James Clerkenwell
andarebecome Chargeable to the same; We
the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstances, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the saidWm. Burroughs
Martha his Wife and her [..] said Three
Children is in the Parish of Saint Botolph
Bishopsgate London

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said.Martha Buroughs< no role > and her said
Three Children
from and out of your saidParish of Saint James
Clerkenwell to the saidParish of Saint Botolph
Bishopsgate London
andthemdeliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some, or one of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
themaccording to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals this1st.Day ofJuly 1751
