WHEREAS Complaint and Information hath been made upon Oath
before me, John Sherwood< no role > , [..] Esquire one of his Majesty's
Justice of the Peace for the said County, by John Russell< no role >
of
that you did on the 14th. Day of December Ins use a Waggon
upon a certain Public Highway in the Parish of Saint Leonard
Shoreditch and County aforesaid, of which you are the owner, not having your
Christian, and Surname and the place of [..] your
Abode painted there or in large Legible Letters
contrary to the Statute, These are therefore to require you personally to
appear before me, or such Justice or Justices, as shall be then and there
fitting at the above Office, one Saturday next, at Ten of the Clock
in the Forenoon to answer to the said complaint and Information,
made by the said John Russell< no role > who is likewise directed to be then
and there present, to make good the same, hereof fail not, Given under
my Hand and Seal, this 19th Day of December in the Year
of our Lord, One Thousand, Seven Hundred, and Seventy Six.
