To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex at their
Quarter Session of the Peace in and for the
said County Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint John of Wapping in the County
of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by an Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of Henry Lambe< no role > and Thomas Gilbert< no role >
Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the peace acting in and
for the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
date the seventh day of August last Sarah Matthews< no role > -
an Infant aged about: five years the Daughter of William
Matthews
< no role > and Elizabeth < no role > his late Wife deceased was-
removed from the parish of Kensington in the County
of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint John of
Wapping as the place of her last legal Settlement

That Your Petitioners conceive themselves
Aggrieved by the said Order and do Appeal agt.
the same

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray that a day may be appoint
of this present Session to hear and
determine the Matter of the sd. Appeal
and that all Parties concerned may
then Attend

And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
