To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace
Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Martin in the Fields within the
liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex

Sheweth,


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order
under the Hands and Seals of Thomas Gordon< no role > and John Wright< no role >
Esquires Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and
for the City and liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex
(One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Twentieth
Day of May instant John< no role > described as a Male Bastard
Child born of the Body of Margaret Dowling< no role > Singlewoman
was Removed and Conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint
Ann within the liberty of Westminster aforesaid to the said
Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields as the Place of his legal
Settlement whereby your Petitioners are as they conceive
aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Appeal to this Court against the Adjudication
of the said Justices and their said Order
and pray your Worships that the Benefit
of the said Appeal may be saved unto
them and that a Day may be appointed
in this present Sessions for the hearing
and determining the said Appeal

And your Petitioners will Pray Etc
