MIDDLESEX .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King, holden in and for the County of Middlesex , at
the Session-House for the said County, on Monday in the Week next after the
Feast [..] of the Epiphany (to wit) the Twelfth Day ofJanuary
Twenty ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
GEORGE the Third, King of Great Britain, Etc .

Whereas James Banks< no role > Hath at this present Session Exhibited his Petition and
Appeal setting forth That he was on the Sixth day of december last Convicted before William
Hyde
< no role > Esquire one of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County in the Penalty of Twenty
pounds for uttering vending and selling, One pair of Leather Gloves with a Stamp or Mark of
less Denomination than by the Act is directed whereby the Petitioner conceived himself aggrieved
Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioner It is Ordered that the benefit of his said Appeal
should be served unto him and the hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby
adjourned untill the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for this County and on
notice hereof in the mean time to be given unto the said William Hyde< no role > Esquire he and all
Persons concerned do attend the Court at the Session House aforesaid on Thursday the twenty
third day of April next at the hour of nine in the forenoon of the same day to hear and
abide the judgement and determination of the said Court touching the said Appeal
