That by a certain Conviction under the Hand and
Seal of

Esquire
one of his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace
in and for the said County of Middlesex
bearing date
the Sixteenth day of April instant your Petitioners were convicted
of selling on the Eleventh day of March last past to one

me pair of Leather Gloves exceeding the Price or
value of one shilling and four pence (to wit) of the Price or value
of one shilling and eight pence

pence with a stamp or Mark of less Denomination or Value
than in and by the Act of Parliament in that Case made and
provided is directed to be affixed being affixed to the same (to wit)
with a Stamp or mark of the Denomination or Value of one
penny contrary to the Statute and your Petitioners were adjudged
to forfeit for the same the Sum of twenty pounds
That your Petitioners conceiving themselves to be
aggrieved by such Conviction humbly beg leave to appeal to this
Honourable Court against the same pursuant to a Recognizance
entered into by your Petitioners before the said Justice for that
purpose
And Your Petitioners shall ever Pray etc
